Last summer I wrote about the Book Swap at Helsinki Airport. I think it’s a great idea but it took me a while to visit the book corner myself. Next time I’ll swap some books.

HIFK hockey games represent my idyllic Finland. Everything is announced in both Finnish and Swedish, and the fans are cheering for the team in both languages. The end of the game wasn’t that idyllic tough, a big group fight after which both teams left the arena without shaking hands.
March is quite nice after all, but it is also never ending. I’m ready for the Summer now!
This evening I’ve played with this little princess. This time Lotta and Bassi were on a visit. Mum was visiting earlier this week and tomorrow Dad will come by. This is the advantage of living in Helsinki even if it’s far away from Kokkola.
The other day I found the original Musta-Pekka (Black-Pekka) playing cards at a game store. A legendary game apparently played by everyone, e.g, my friends, my mum, my Czech colleague… The name is changed to Pekka-peli, but that doesn’t really change the message of the game.
I’ve only done snowboarding during the last 15 years, but this weekend at Tahko I decided to rent skis. As a result I decided to get my own skis and keep my snowboard as reserve equipment from now on. Adult points deserved? ;)
