Our first stop was Valencia. And once here, we wanted to visit a tapas restaurant “La Pilareta” we knew would be very good, cheap and local. But now we noticed the bad side of the very much admired Lonley Planet travel guides. Once a restaurant is mentioned there, it is also packed with tourists. That takes pretty much the splendor of it all.
This is the craziest thing I’ve ever seen and I’m still shaking.
Approximately 20 000 spectators were watching the bullrun this morning at Pamplona Bullring.
The Running of the Bulls dates back to medieval times (1385) and arose as a result of need to transport the bulls to the bullring. This crazyness continues every year for seven days in a row during the San Fermin fiesta.
